As most of you have no doubt noticed, on Saturday the +1.5 underdogs spanked the
-1.5 faves by a count of 14 to 1 ....
This wasn't entirely underdog outright wins; Houston, Texas, Milwaukee, and Montreal all lost but covered as +1.5 dogs.
From Monday thru Saturday this week, the +1.5 underdogs have outshone the -1.5 faves by the tune of 63 to 21.
Since May 23 (when I began tracking):
+1.5 dogs: 317, -1.5 faves: 206 .
Of course, runline dogs often need to be used in two-team parlays, to boost their usually "chalky" values.
[ I tried to address this a little in the Newbie forum, see http://therxforum.com/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=100090022&f=6931088&m=81310412 ]
Note: these are the "standard" -1.5 faves and +1.5 dogs. For instance, not tracking where an outright moneyline dog (like Detroit often is), is "flipped" into a -1.5 "favourite's" role.
